Illuminotronica, LED and new technology
Illuminotronica, the trade show on LED lighting, home automation integration and security will take place in Padua from October 6 to 8 with a rich programme of conferences and special events.
The event for those who manufacture, apply and design lighting solutions and for those who use, adjust and install them. A professional event in Italy dedicated to the “visible” and its applications and an interesting point of reference for the professionals in the fields of lighting, home automation and security.
Sponsored by Assodel (Federation of Electronic Districts), it is an exclusive opportunity to get updated, develop your business and learn and share ideas on smart lighting and new technologies and solutions for people’s well-being and safety.
The products, solutions and services for Smart Lighting, Home Automation, Security and the Internet of Things will be the protagonists of the “smart” technology revolution, raising awareness about the technical possibilities and professional opportunities offered by these sectors.
Much is being said and discussed about the ways to reduce energy consumption and on the real advantages of new lighting design. And of course much has been done for the diffusion of solid state lighting, completely changing the world of lighting, also thanks to easy light control and simple integration with other “smart” technology.
Today LEDs are no longer an alternative to lighting up one’s home, but rather the key element of the new power systems installed in a “smart home”.
Human Centric Lighting is a hot topic within the sector. Lighting has an impact on the psychophysical well-being of people, so LEDs have become essential tools to adjust the lighting scenarios to suit any setting.
Home automation has inserted new lighting systems inside the spaces where we live and work, allowing an easier control of more complex systems, which are often interconnected.
The secret of Illuminotronica’s success is the idea to gather all the “smart” solutions in one venue, bringing together numerous professional figures who share their knowledge on the market every day: companies with innovative solutions, architects and designers, installers, system integrators, professional technicians, representatives of Public Administrations, as well as end users who search for the best solution to meet their needs.
Technology on display
Bound by the common thread of technology, Illuminotronica presents four application scenarios. For each one of them, there are exhibition and demonstration areas, talk shows, courses, labs and special initiatives.
HOME – The Smart Home is the protagonist of the smart lighting, security and home automation markets. A demo area of 96 sqm, the Casa Domotica, is the place where you can find the latest innovations in terms of wireless controls, sensors, thermostats, smart lighting systems and consumption control devices.
CITY – From the Smart Home to the Smart City, the step is not so long…products and solutions for public lighting, video surveillance, control of networks and connected objects, without neglecting the well-being and safety of citizens. As for the Award Ecohitech – now entering its 18th edition – the prestigious prize will award eco-friendly and smart cities for the results obtained in terms of energy savings and sustainability thanks to the adoption of LED lighting solutions and new technologies.
DESIGN – Where new technologies meet design. With the Light Experiences, you can witness the amazing spectacle of light, while in the LED Gallery, you can admire an exhibition of innovative design products. Lastly, there is the Codega Awards for lighting professionals, solutions and products of excellence that use LED technology.
IN PRACTICE – Know what’s new about a product and go into further details on the design complexities through seminars, round tables and “practice” sessions for a hands-on experience on smart lighting products and innovative systems. E-Lab is the area for field trials conceived for electrical and electronic experts. It is a laboratory and a workshop for experimenting, testing and applying. An innovation centre for those who want to have a first-hand experience on how to use the new technology.
Don’t miss it! Be there if you want to be updated on what’s new in the market and meet colleagues and specialists.
