·      Disano confirms its partnership to Cortina serving as a technical sponsor also for the other upcoming sporting events.

Two of the world’s greatest snowboard champions, Ester Ledecka, multiple-times Olympic medallist from the Czech Republic, and Italian Roland Fischnaller, with an amazing list of 19 World Cup victories, won the Snowboard World Cup held in Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy, on the Tondi track in Faloria, illuminated by Disano lights.

Cortina returns to host the Snowboard World Cup for the sixth time in a row. This year’s edition was a special one due to the anti-Covid measures that did not allow any live audience on the slope. However, the event’s most spectacular moment, the evening parallel slalom race, could be enjoyed live on Rai Sport and Eurosport thanks to the perfect lighting of the track, made by Disano serving as the event’s technical sponsor.

Roland Fischnaller said: “For us as Italians, it’s a source of great pride to be able to race in Cortina. And I particularly like it because, with today, it’s my fourth win here”. According to Cortina’s mayor, Gianpietro Ghedina, the Snowboard World Cup is “one of the winter season’s main sporting events”.

With its technological partnership, Disano illuminazione supports the return of winter sports in Cortina, which will serve host to other events, including the 2021 Alpine Ski World Championships and the Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics. Disano also extends its commitment to ice hockey by sponsoring the S.G. Cortina local club, one of Italy’s oldest and most awarded ice hockey teams.
